Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress. After her debut on film in the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actress, and author. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of reviews. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club is regarded as one of high school cinema's best films. Though the budget was only $1 million, its profits surpassed 50 million dollars. When she was working on this, her debut on television came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent-oriented show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was a part of. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about the superhero X-Men in which she plays a cameo. Her incredible performances have earned her numerous awards including the MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
