Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been known as a well-known American writer of cook books for many seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina began to write policies and nuclear energy papers to the White House. While she found it intellectually stimulating initially eventually she stopped her pursuit and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. After more than 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. Numerous other books as well as magazine articles followed. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. Additionally, she sells items ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and tools. Ina did not go to any cookery schools nor was she employed in a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her easy cooking style is well-known. She is well-known for her simple recipes such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
